‘Au Gîte des Oies’ is a dream come true for the owners and is also a result of the love of Linda for geese. We have found this beautiful 38 acre domain in the area of Roxton Falls. Half of it is a meadow while the other half is a forest with a number of trails, a garden, a blueberry farm and four lakes. On one of the lakes you may observe swans while on another one you may enjoy our pavilion and watch trouts jumping out. Picnic tables are available to our visitors. It is an ideal location for relaxing, walking, resourcing and experiencing life on a farm.
‘Au Gîte des Oies’ is an organic farm and a holiday cottage. We have won the Acton MRC 2019 Choice award at the Distinction Gala. We produce farm geese and ducks. We currently own about 400 geese of 9 different species and 400 ducks, breeded outside. We also have hens, turkeys and grain fed chicken.
Interested by our history? A guided visit of our farm is possible. Ask for details upon arrival.
We sell at the farm geese, ducks, rillettes, terrines, foie gras, preserve legs (confit) and magrets. For your dinner, we can prepare you a platter garnished with delicious farm products. It is preferable to reserve in advance. Finally, travellers will be happy to learn that we have developed a selection of jar-sealed products so that they can be stored up to 3 years and are ideal for your RV outings.
Cyclists can enjoy the magnificent ‘La Campagne’ bike path, passing by just 1km from the farm.
Come and enjoy a unique experience… We offer Terego RV members 3 overnight RV parking spots on grass!
