September 17, 2021Escapade

There are classics that never go out of style, like orchard tours and apple picking. But at Terego, we suggest you revisit this autumnal classic by camping in the orchard among the apple trees!

If you're with the family, it's an RV camping experience your kids won't soon forget.

With the annual Terego Membership or a 3-Day Pass, you can reserve overnight RV parking in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes. The network has more than 300 host producers, including 40 orchards!

Here are 10 orchard ideas to visit at the end of summer. So get your RV and head to where the apples are!

1. Puddicombe Estate Farms & Winery, Niagara, Ontario

In a perfect late summer road trip, there is apple picking, wine tasting and stunning scenery. This farm, vineyard and cidery offers it all at the gateway to Niagara, near Hamilton. To make the trip even more complete, you can also trek the hiking trails, visit the mini-farm or indulge yourself at the bakery.

2. Verger Méli-Mélo Senc, Laurentides, Quebec

The Terego team is crushing on this small and pretty family orchard in the Laurentians. 3. Cannamore Orchard, Ottawa and its countryside, Ontario

Cannamore Orchard takes on a haunting air for Halloween and transforms into the "Acres of Terror". But the orchard also offers plenty of activities for the family, including pick-your-own apples, giant mazes and covered wagon rides.

4. Verger Croque-Pomme, Outaouais, Quebec

5. Verger Belliveau Orchard, New Brunswick

Located among the fertile hills along the Petitcodiac River in New Brunswick, the Belliveau orchard includes more than 70,000 apple trees! It's immense! Also, the fruits grown in the orchard are used in the production of some beers. Tasting good local beers is also a pleasure that you can afford on a late summer road trip!
