In order to respond to a high demand from member travellers as well as host producers, we are introducing two major modifications to the Terego reservation platform of overnight RV parking.

1. Same day (travelling day) booking

Member travellers cannot anymore reserve a parking spot on the same day that they are travelling at a Terego network host producer.

Indeed, this was a major irritant for host producers. Receiving a reservation request on a few hours’ notice was a major impediment to their regular activities as they were seldom aware of the incoming e-mail request, being often tied up in field work for long hours without any clerical support back home to take care of such last minute requests.

Unfortunately, several producers dropped out of the network because of this irritant.

We understand that some travellers like to book a last minute reservation. However, this practice was stretching the network’s ability to respond and remain solid. We needed to come up with a compromise in order to maintain a network attractive not only to travellers but also to host producers. Therefore, from now on, member travellers can reserve a parking spot from the day before travelling up to 30 days in advance.

2. Host producers list (web site) accessible only by members

From now on, only member travellers with a valid annual membership or a 3-day passport will be able to access the network host producers’ list and see the map.

This was a recurrent demand from several host producers and member travelers as well. With the increasing popularity of our Terego network, producers were experiencing more and more direct calls from non-members, short-circuiting the platform. This was a major irritant, compounded by the fact that several of these non-members had a questionable behaviour, harmful to the global image of RV travellers. Host producers LOVE Terego member travellers. You are motivated, interested, respectful. You are a most welcome visit for them! We need to maintain this nice community spirit between producers and travellers.
