2023 Report – Terego RVers' year in numbers

With a new phone app, even more hosts to discover, the addition of two host categories and the launch of an urban stopover in Granby, the Terego 2023 season has been a busy one.

The new "Festival" and "Wellness and body care" host categories charmed Terego members looking for something new! For those wishing for RV outings in the city, Granby's urban stopover, on the banks of the Yamaska River, was a real hit.

The Terego team is very pleased to start the 2023 review with this figure:

500 hosts

Terego members can now stay overnight at over 500 hosts across Canada. With hosts in every province, RV travel has never been easier or more fun. Nearly half of all members claim to have visited at least one new region this year thanks to Terego. In addition, with the new "Wellness & Body Care" category, including spas experiences, members are more relaxed than ever! Of the 500 Terego hosts, around 75 welcome RVs and vans in the off season between November and April. Members can easily find these hosts by using the "available off season" search filter.

7,000 downloads of the Terego App

Designed with the experiences and recommendations of members in mind, the Terego App has been downloaded over 7,000 times since its release in winter 2023. As well as having all the host search features, it also allows you to create unique itineraries between your starting point and your destination, personalized lists of favourites hosts based on your interests, and use geolocation to find hosts near your location. According to the end-of-season survey, 61% of members primarily used the App to make reservations this season.

The Terego app is available on Apple Store and Google Play.

280 reservations at the most populair host

The most popular host, for the 2nd season running, was Big Axe Brewery in New Brunswick. The brewery, situated by the Saint John River, welcomed 280 Terego members. Second place went to an Île d'Orléans host who joined the network this season: Sucrerie Blouin, with 271 reservations. The sugar shack offers 5 parking spots overlooking the St. Lawrence River. In Ontario, 1000 Islands Cruises - Rockport Boat Line, also located near a river, welcomed 179 RVers. Are we to understand that Terego members like to enjoy their morning coffee with a water view? Yes, they do!

66% availability rate

With over 1,500 RV parking spaces in all Canadian provinces, the availability rate remained high all summer: between 60% and 75%. More availability = more discoveries! In fact, Terego members made almost 18,000 overnight reservations this season. This year, the fine weather of September made it the busiest period in the network. This high rate of availability, both on weekdays and weekends, is good news for travellers who like to make last-minute RV outings.
