5 reasons to travel in RV with Terego this spring

The temperature is perfect!
After several months spent within your four walls, what could be better than to trade them for your four walls on wheels! Take advantage of the Canadian spring weather to breathe fresh air, avoid heat waves, but above all, avoid the mosquitoes that are still dozing. Going on a spring adventure means driving with the windows down, feeling the spring breeze and the caress of the sun warming your heart after a long winter. Nothing could be better! A great destination to enjoy it? The P'tit Domaine Marienergie : located 2 hours 45 minutes from Montreal (just long enough to enjoy the road that we missed so much), this host offers a vast playground for outdoor enthusiasts. Located in the Vallée-Bras-du-Nord, you will be able to do many outdoor activities with a pleasant spring weather. Such as exploring a vast network of trails that will lead you to a beach or crossing a small bridge at the end of which you arrive directly in the heart of the village of St-Raymond!
Visit an asparagus farm
At the beginning of May, fresh asparagus braves the weather to be the first local vegetable to arrive on the shelves. Did you know that it takes 5 years of hard work before the asparagus plant reaches maturity? Not to mention that it must be harvested by hand one at a time, sometimes twice in the same day! Take advantage of your first RV rides of the year to stop at Vignoble Saint-Thomas (Saint-Thomas-de-Joliette), Ferme Cormier (L'Assomption) or Barrie Hill Farms (Ontario) to pick up the very first fresh asparagus at a stand. Some farms even offer U-pick!
Enjoy the low season
Low season means serenity. It is so nice to be able to take your time to explore the less crowded roads. What a pleasure to drive at your own pace and enjoy the view! Take advantage of the many availability of our hosts and the popular activities that surround them during your RV excursions. Plus, you may have your host all to yourself! Take advantage of VIP guided tours and exclusive discoveries. We recommend a stop at the Gijamika Farm in Kamouraska to meet Jeremy and Jacinthe, our most visited hosts of the 2021 season!
Flowering of the orchards
What better way to announce the arrival of spring than with the first flowers? Absolutely nothing! An RV trip to Rougemont will allow you to admire the spectacle of apple trees in bloom while enjoying a glass of cider. Many of the hosts offer the possibility of walking through their orchards to see the blossoms up close. This incredible scenery is the perfect time to take pictures while smelling the spring aromas. This ephemeral event only lasts a few days, so we suggest you keep an eye on the Facebook pages of some of our hosts such as Vignoble Coteau Rougemont, Domaine de Lavoie or Cidrerie Michel Jodoin to know the best blooming dates!
Contemplate the impressive flow of the waterfalls
The best reward after a spring hike? The beauty of a waterfall just free of its winter ice and flowing with all its might! Exclusively accessible by a trail starting at Algoma Highlands Wild Blueberry Farm & Winery, come and admire the Scenic High Falls, one of the main attractions of the town of Wawa in Ontario. In Quebec, discover the Belvedere du Moulin where you can contemplate the waterfall, the dam and the small canyon of the Bluets River. The Belvedere is located at our host Espace Aux Rives Du Temps where you can also visit a century old railcar and a woodworking shop (opening May 26). Believe us, hearing the melody of a waterfall pouring officially announces the arrival of spring!
